No one else noticed that the 17" "strippers" are shipping within 24 hours, with the rest within 1-2 days. That puts Apple only day or two behind the PC manufacturers shipping Meroms?

Apple should bundle the ClickToFlash plug-in into Mobile Safari. It prevents flash from running unless you really want it to run. This should address, in part, Apple's stated reason for not allowing flash (battery drain and stability) as the user would only enable it for those parts of the web that they really want to see.
And, while they are at it, they should enable file uploads in Mobile Safari to upload photos and videos.
I hate only being able to use part of the internet on my iPhone when there is no technical reason I shouldn't be able to do both Flash on demand and file uploads.
Give this man/woman/fish (*delete as applicable*) a prize. In a nutshell, this is precisely why Adobe Flash isn't available on the iPhone - Adobe have never been able to make it work under OS X. I have a 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro and Flash consumes approximately 120% processor time just to playback a low-resolution YouTube video. Under no circumstances would I want to bring code that requires so much resources to do so little to a mobile device. Can you imagine what this would do to your browsing experience and battery life?
I have a lot against Adobe Flash but it is a fact of life and therefore I would like access to Flash content on the iPhone but it has to be done in a way that is appropriate and, right now, I have absolutely no faith that Adobe has a solution that wouldn't destroy the user experience.

Reality is that the iMac will get the job done, with plenty of speed, beautiful, and reliable, much better than the $750 PC. For jobs that it can't get done, sorry mate, there is a reason why each processor in the Mac Pro alone costs a lot more than the whole $750 PC.

At the very least, a 13th Nov release would take away [some] of Zune's press. Or at least add some Apple PR with every other mention of Zune (besides iPod).

Your not paying a premium for the color, you get 8GB. What sucks is you can't get 8GB in colors, lame move on Apple's part with no reason behind it.

Folks diss'ed the higher costs for a black MacBook, but they sold in huge quantities. Obviously folks were willing to pay for the color.

I agree with you that a 2 lb. laptop isn't possible with an optical drive, but a 3 lb. laptop is still possible:

I think people who say that no new iphone 5 is going to be announced are people who just got a verizon iphone and are on contract and so they hope that no new iphone comes out.I just got a Verizon iPhone, and still looking forward to iPhone 5. I Still have a upgrade available to waste.

Does anyone know if you can view the entire library still and use that "strip bar" across the top where you filter by music, tv shows, etc.....I kind of liked that...MAYBE I'll get used to the new way...but is there a way to make it go back to the old way?

I selected all my tracks then right clicked and selected 'Download Artwork' or whatever. It's going through them now.
EDIT: bah, the majority of my tracks are still without artwork - theres even a couple of duplicated covers in there.

I'm in New York City for a band trip and I'm running into Beatles/iTunes ads everywhere. I made sure to go to the Apple Store and they were constantly playing Beatles music. Apple really is advertising the hell out of the band. :p

I think I'll enjoy my iPhone 4 a while longer and my battery life. LTE is not prevalent enough yet, nor are the chipsets able to run low power enough. Mid 2012 is the best timeframe for LTE. Any earlier and you are on the bleeding edge of no infrastructure. The networks and the technology simply aren't ready.
Oh, and the biggest myth about LTE: People actually believe there will be a significant bandwidth improvement. Sorry, but the jump from EDGE to 3G was much more significant than 3G to LTE, especially with 3G running at 7.2.

Hi Guys, i was looking at your cpu temps for your mac books, I have a 12" 1.5ghz Powerbook G4 with 1.25GB RAM, and i get higher CPU temps than you lot, is my G4 faulty... it lasted me nearly 2 years, got passed the faulty battery lark, this is using a new battery apple sent me...
