Alexey - I only have a very basic understanding of Grids in both Silverlight and Flex! With that said, the Grid control is fairly complex in both Flex and Silverlight. Porting between them might be tricky, but I've never tried so I am only guessing.
I'll pass your feedback on to some colleagues who may either have an answer or use your feedback for future Grid-related improvements :)
I'm going to play with Grid a bit inside Blend and see if I can come up with a workaround.

NIW 140 approved last year. EB1a 140 RFE/485 pending. Can I file a new 485 for NIW? or do I have to withdraw the pending 485 before filing the new 485?

I am in similar boat. What does your lawyer say? I am waiting for my lawyer response. How about option on interfiling NIW 140 with the pending I-485. That is do not file new I-485 but change underlined I-140 in the old one. Ask your lawyer about that and let us also know whats his/her response.

There is a specific time frame where, when and how the ad must be placed. In addition, there has to be multiple forms of recruitment efforts to hire USC. Also, if beneficiary(You) is involved or has known that such ad is being placed, then the whole process need to restart.There are other steps like state wage determination etc that should happen before an appliation for PERM can be filed.In short, you may not be able to use just a monster ad to file PERM application.

Note that EAD is not a valid document for re-entry.
If you have a valid AP - you can re-enter
or
If you have a valid H1/H4 AND un-expired visa stamping - you can re-enter
I had my H1 extension pending and I was able to re-enter using AP (on July 18, 2008 at San Francisco)
She has the F1 stamped on the passport which is valid until Dec 2009 I think. She is finishing much before that. Does it mean she will not be able to reenter on either F1 visa or the EAD?

I got EAD cards at my new address, but no FP notice yet. Have I missed that or USCIS might not have sent it yet?

Call USCIS and find out. As per my knowledge, USCIS does not update it online once they send out the FP notice.

i am assuming there were some visas lost before 2007. does anyone has any links justifying that.

I have my H1-stamping and I-94 valid until March 07, My H1 extension was applied during Nov - 06, but not approved yet....In the mean while, can I visit India and return by Feb 07 ? On my return, I will still get my I-94 till March 07, but Once my H1 extension is approved it will have the I-94 attached to it till Mar 08, is this I-94 valid ?
My employer is saying that, the new I-94 that I got from my H1-extension is not valid and they have to file a new H1 OR I have to convert the H1 extension to Premium and travel with the approved H1 extension ?

2. Applied for and got H1B approved, with the bottom right part attached. The visa was valid till November 2008.

4. Never left the United States since I entered in 2003 on F1 Visa.
5. My passport expires in the middle of 2010.
Based on this, in order to ensure my legal stay in the United States, do I need to do anything except renew my passport at some point of time before it expires, in terms of either having to leave the US, or go to some agency to update something? Please suggest. Thank you for your help.

I have a request / concern / what ever you would say.
Please do not cirtize if you do not like the idea, just ignore and leave the thread.
There are so many people comming to IV for other experts guidance on different things mainly on H1B status, AC21 status, AP, FP, EAD and H4 to EAD, .....
Why don't you create a general guide lines or rules or do's and don't or QA's for each topic, so that each member or visitor who come to IV can atleast go through them before asking or posting quesitons.
You can create a survery for different kinds of questions people / members / visitors might ask or have fore each topic before creating the thread so that we can have a pool of questions and answers for each topic from experts or attorney answered. (you might say we have recordings from attorney Prashanti Reddy, but it would be good if we have some thing which can be referred easily i.e., typed.
These are just some of my thoughts, it can or cannot be implemented. It depeneds on IV admins/Gurus/Experts on this forum.
Gurus, please provide your thoughts.

Those who are planning to park cars at meto station, please reach the station early in the morning. The parking at metro station will get filled up quickly.

My situation is tricky here. I would really appreciate any inputs.
My six years validity for H-1 B will be complete in Mid Dec 2007. I filed my Labor on March 5th in Atlanta. As you know the ATLANTA center is really really slow and I am still waiting on my Labor approval decision. I thought of applying 140 through Premium Processing. Now USCIS suspended premium processing for 140s. My question is:
Whay will be my situation if my Labor gets approved and 140 is pending as of dec 2007 as the LC is filed with less than 365 days remaining on H1 validity? Will I be out of status or can I apply for 7th year extension.
Please guide me through the process and any scenarios. Thank you in advance.
