I-140 belongs to the employer only, so it is up-to them to disclose the details. Unless you change employer without using AC21 clause, I-140 details won't be necessary.

is a continuation of medical benefits after you terminate your employment (voluntarily or involuntarily). It has nothing to do with immigration. The cost will be higher.
If you are out of a job on H1B for a long time, then there certainly is a legal problem unrelated to COBRA. For EAD, it does not matter.

I would really welcome some help with my question! My foreign-born fiance and I would like to be married within the coming year. We are both students (he in CT and myself in MA). I have completed 3.5 years of my H1B and am looking at the possibility of applying for GC either under EB2/3.
After my 12th, I did a 2 year Diploma in Business from Australia and then did a 2 year MA(History) in correspondence (open uni) from India and also a 1 year PGDCA by correspondence.
I have more than 10 years of IT experience to go with my 12+2(fulltime)+3(correspondence)years of education.
Questions:
Please advice if I qualify for EB2 and if so will there be any issues ?

The challenging thing here for your attorney is to provide proof that you have ABET 4-yer bachelor or equivalent degree before filing i-140. Even EB3 is going to be challenging task. Remember H1B requirements are different from EB green card.:(

My insurance company (Progressive) is charging a ridiculously high rate for liability only insurance for my H4 spouse who currently holds a valid permit. They say the rate will go further up when she gets a perm license after passing the road test.
I have heard this issue from other H1Bs who have different insurance carriers than mine.
Have you guys found a cheaper alternative? Insurance agents etc??

It is 1 million reen cards every year. If you add up family based, lottery, asylum EB etc., it all comes to around 1 million.
Out of 140K EB green cards, only half the green cards actually go to high skilled immigrants. The other half go to the spouses and children of high skilled immigrants. So out of 140K, less than half of these green cards are actually allocated to the high skilled EB immigrants.
